The free chlorine sensor is a reagentless, electrochemical sensor that continuously measures the chlorine concentration in water. The free chlorine sensor measures the concentration of free chlorine （generated from inorganic chlorine products） in water. Variations in the pH value have an affect on the accuracy of the chlorine measurement. The chlorine value shown on the controller decreases at about 10% per pH unit increase. This sensor has an internal temperature sensor that increases the accuracy of the chlorine measurement. The temperature measurement signal is used internally by the sensor for automatic temperature compensation. The temperature measurement signal is not shown on the controller.
This sensor is designed to work with the digital gateway for the CLF10sc Reagentless Chlorine Analyzer and one of the sc series controllers for data collection and operation.
